Mercedes-Benz CL-Class restyled
The exterior design of the new CL-Class generation is characterised by the new profile of the hood, the dynamic V-shape radiator grille and the curving headlamps.
The front bumper has a new design with three air intake openings and a chrome trim strip.
The new headlights – which use Intelligent Light System (ILS) and Adaptive Highbeam Assist technology – have a LED strip with chrome surround for the daytime running lights, integrated in brake cooling inlets.
The rear end is characterised by the newly-designed tail lamps and LED turn indicators.
Among the technical highlights are the camera and radar-based assistance systems – including the Active Lane Assist and Active Blind Spot Assist systems – the Active Body Control (ABC) with crosswind stabilisation system and the Direct-Steer system.
The new CL is powered by a new 435 hp 4.6 liter V8 biturbo engine with a fuel efficiency improved by up to 23 percent over its predecessor model, and CO2 emissions dropped from 288 to 224 g/km.
The top-of-the-line CL 600 features a 517 hp 12-cylinder biturbo engine that accelerates it from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
