The new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is powered by a 408 hp 3.8-litre flat six engine with rear-wheel drive. It is coupled with a a six-speed manual gearbox or a seven-speed PDK transmission - available as an option.
The top speed of the GTS is 306 km/h, while the 0-100 km/h sprint takes just 4.2 seconds.
The exterior design is characterized by the widened rear body (+ 44 millimeters) and wider rear track which emphasize the classic rear engine configuration of the 911.
The 19-inch centre-locking RS Spyder alloy wheels are painted in black with high-gloss finished rims, and are fitted with 235/35 ZR 19 tires on the front axle and 305/30 ZR 19 tires on the rear.
Distinctive design elements include the SportDesign front apron with a spoiler edge painted in black, special side skirts also in black, and the Carrera GTS logotype on doors and rear lid, in black or silver depending on the body colour. The area between the two tailpipes on the rear apron is also finished in black.
Inside, in combination with the standard black interior colour, the center sections of the driver and passenger sport seats are covered with black Alcantara, which is also used for the rim of the new three-spoke SportDesign steering wheel and on the gear lever and handbrake.
The new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS will debut at the Paris Salon on October 2 and will go on sale in December, priced from 105K Euros for the Coupe and 115K for the Cabriolet.
